CENTENNIAL CUP:

Man or Woman. Best Stableford score.
 

WALTER STRANG:

Men - Stableford.

Total Stableford points over two rounds. In the event of a tie the trophy will be shared.

KNOCKOUT:

Men - Match Play. Strokes taken where given. In the event of a tie a further three holes to be played then sudden death. CHAMPIONSHIPS: Men - Match Play. Shall not be limited to qualifiers only. All finals except Junior B to be played over 36 holes. May be played up to date of next round. If a day cannot be agreed upon, player available on the day set down is the winner. Sudden death in the event of a tie. 

 

CADBURY FRY CUP:

Men - Played in conjunction with the championship qualifying rounds. Best nett total of the two rounds. RINGER: Men - Ringer days will be determined by deducting HALF the player's handicap at the completion of the competition, from his final score. 

 

MORROW CUP:

Any combination played over one round. Canadian Foursome Nett. 40% Combined Handicap. 

 

4BBB STABLEFORD:

Entries in pairs - any combination. To be played on the day set down. Four rounds, best three rounds to count 

 

JEFFERY CUP:

Any combination 4BBB Nett - One round. 

 

DOUG FINDLAY MEMORIAL TROPHY:

Man or woman. Awarded for best nett score - medal round - for year. 

 

TOP DOG: BOTTOM DOG:

Entries in pairs - any combination. All matches start on Tees No. 1 and No. 9 or as directed and must be played prior to the date of next round. Lowest handicap in match goes back to scratch and other reduce by similar margin. Women take their strokes where indicated on the women's card. In the event of a tie a further 3 holes are played, then sudden death.

 

MATCHPLAY COMPETITIONS:

Women players are given until the day before the next round date set down to complete a round. Any round may be played prior to date set down by the mutual agreement of the players concerned. Any changes to the above will be at the discretion of the Club Captain. 

 

KNOCKOUT:

Women - draw as posted. Matchplay the FULL difference in handicap. Strokes taken where shown on the card. If all square at 18th hole, continue play (taking same strokes) and the first to win a hole wins the match. 

 

TEVIOT TROPHY:

Women - At least one nett score to be entered each month, March & April. Any extra day score may be used. Scores are to be entered on sheet and initialled by marker. Only enter score if it betters the previous one for the month. In the event of a tie for the 8th position there will be a playoff over 18 holes. A tie for the other positions will be decided by lot. For Matchplay, the full difference in handicap. Matchplay will be an automatic draw. In the case of all square at the 18th, continue play taking same strokes and the first to win a hole wins the match. 

 

MATCHPLAY - NO STROKES:

If all square at completion of stipulated round, then sudden death applies. In the event of only one player in any division, that player will be declared the Champion. Players should check date for completion of round on championship draw sheet Final of the Silver and Bronze 1 Championships to be played over 36 holes. Bronze 2 Championships over 18 holes. All women's competitions may be played PRIOR to the date set down, once they are posted.
